Built so Kannada stays alive

Namaste Kannada started with a simple worry: our kids speak English at school, English at home, and English on every screen. Kannada was slipping away. So we built the app we wished existed.

Playful first

If a kid won't tap it, we won't ship it. Every screen earns the next tap.

Native audio

Real Kannada speakers, not robotic TTS. Pronunciation matters.

Parent-friendly

No ads, no dark patterns, no in-app upsells aimed at kids.

Privacy by default

We collect the bare minimum. Your child's progress is yours.

A tiny note from me

I’m Ina — a parent, designer, and Kannada learner building this little project from home. Most of Namaste Kannada is made in the quiet hours between bedtime stories, school drop-offs, and late-night cups of coffee. I started this as a small way to keep Kannada playful, warm, and close to home for children growing up everywhere.

Every lesson, every audio clip, every sticker has been tested on actual kids (ours, mostly, with mixed reviews). If something doesn't work for your family, please tell us — we read every email.
